Welcome to Under the Table

Welcome to Under the Table, the only store of its kind in Atwater Village and Northeast LA. At Black Maria Gallery, our patrons are always asking to see uncommon artworks that we might be storing in 'the back room' - 'under the table,' so to speak. This is how we got the idea of offering special objects made by the artists we represent. But then we expanded that idea considerably, to include a whole slew of unique objects to bring something new to the discerning collector.

All those who are left cold by the mass-production stuff, will be thrilled to discover Under the Table.

ChilliChilly Artist Collection Glass - II

ChilliChilly's Artist Collection of drinking glasses features a selection of graphic designs that are unique in their style. They believe that different motifs reflect an individual's personality and for that reason, they have approached numerous renowned artists with diverse backgrounds to produce these mini-pieces of art. The list of notable artists includes Rinzen, Kam Tang, Will Sweeney, Boris Telegen (aka Delta), :phunk studio.

Each set comes with one hand blown drinking glass and one coaster.

By the Lake Cup and Saucer Set

A series of three romantic cup and saucer sets by Chillichilly that reminds us of those lovely days by the lake. The platinum-plated saucer mimics the calming surface of a lake. The silhouettes of the forest and one of the three distinct creatures reflect on the saucer.
